I love learning new things and challenging myself. As I was looking for a new hobby, I searched Pinterest and I found myself wanting to learn how to cross stitch. I was able to pick up the materials from a local craft store and tried to teach myself with the written instructions included with the cross stitch pattern. After 20 minutes of frustration, I turned to google for help. There I found hundreds of beginner cross stitching videos and articles. I watched and read articles for another hour before attempting again and actually did it without tangling all my threads like before! It is amazing that we have an endless database of information available to us at all times and only takes a few seconds to find what we want. I have attached my progress with my cross stitching and have fond it to be a wonderful de-stressor after a long day at work and school.
